Some complain that too many of the power elite family names keep showing up in American Politics and as heads of large multi-national conglomerate corporations. But is that a good thing or is it a bad thing? It makes sense to have a seamless communication system between business and government, but is that privilege being abused by a revolving door and lobbyist favors?
Well, do you want a connected family member who the people like or someone the people like who will clash with the capitalist entrepreneurs? We know that wont work either right? Everyone has to be on the same page and unfortunately a lot of this world of humans runs on a payola system and it is the way it is, no one has to like it. Adam Smith warned us of the Invisible hand too you know.
A group of smart benevolent gentlemen who are deep thinkers can put together the system to run smoothly making sure everyone gets what they want, including every man, woman and child of the citizenry. A civilization needs its capitalist entrepreneurs as much or more than its Army and a lot more than its politicians. But then again if you look at a country like the US, well who is really running the place anyway and too that regard it runs rather nicely considering and yes I am aware of all sides of the issue, no need to debate the issues of wages, economic enslavement, credit, monetary flow, outsourcing, corporate taxation, off shoring and the like. All these are considered to be factors in the over all equation, but in the end everyone must get what they need for the civilization to work properly right? Well, consider all this in 2006.
